After six years of intensive restoration work, St. Hedwig’s Cathedral in Berlin has reopened. With an impressive investment volume of around 44.2 million euros<\/strong>, the cathedral now shines in a blend of traditional charm and modern technology.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Ein Meisterwerk aus Vratza-Marmorkalkstein<\/strong><\/p>\n

One highlight of the restoration is the high-quality Vratza marble limestone surfaces<\/strong>, which impress not only with their elegant appearance but also with their exceptional durability. This natural material is frequently used in significant architectural projects such as churches, cathedrals and public buildings.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the innovative NP\u00ae<\/sup> technology, the surfaces of St. Hedwig’s Cathedral<\/strong> are designed to be protected against wax stains and other soiling. The technology gives the stone surfaces a dirt-repellent property that is designed to reduce the penetration of substances such as wax or dust into the pores of the material. As a result, the fine marble is intended to remain easy to maintain even under intensive use.<\/p>\n
