By integrating the Bacterlon\u00ae surface coating technology, the transmission of germs on frequently touched surfaces is intended to be reduced \u2013 in the very spaces where children will soon play, sleep and spend their day.<\/p>\n<p>During the first years of life, the immune system is still developing. Creating surroundings that support health and wellbeing is therefore particularly important. Preventive hygiene measures not only help to protect children, but also ease the daily routines of families and early years professionals by contributing to a safer, more resilient environment.<\/p>\n<p>A key factor in bringing this project to life was the support of the Ministry of the Interior of Saarland, which approved the necessary funding. This backing highlights the importance of actively supporting innovation and health protection in public facilities at state level. It demonstrates a clear commitment to forward-looking solutions that place wellbeing at the centre of public infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The project shows how municipalities can invest in sustainable hygiene concepts at the planning stage of new buildings. The benefits will be shared by children, educators and parents alike \u2013 and, in the long term, also by operators through greater efficiency and reduced hygiene-related challenges.<\/p>\n<p>A healthy environment is not a coincidence.
