With an impressive investment of approximately <strong>44.2 million Euros<\/strong>, the cathedral now glows with a blend of traditional charm and modern technology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A masterpiece of Vratza marble limestone <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A highlight of the renovation is the high-quality Vratza marble limestone surfaces, which impress not only with their elegant appearance but also with their exceptional durability. This natural material is often used in significant architectural projects such as churches, cathedrals, and public buildings. Thanks to the innovative NP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> technology, the surfaces of St. Hedwig&#8217;s Cathedral are reliably protected against wax stains and other soiling. The technology equips the stone surfaces with a dirt-repellent property, preventing substances such as wax or dust from penetrating the pores of the material. As a result, the noble marble remains immaculate and easy to maintain, even with intensive use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technology that has proven its worth <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The effectiveness of this technology has already been demonstrated at the papal basilica St. Johann in Saarbr\u00fccken. There, the NP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> technology has been protecting the red sandstone floors from wax residues, dirt, and wear for over a decade.
