Current, product-specific information can be found on the respective product pages.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Long-Term Hygiene as the Hallmark of the &#8220;City on the River&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Om haar nieuwe zandstenen banken aan de Neckarlauer te beschermen tegen vuil, vogelpoep, kauwgom, graffiti en de groei van algen en mos, liet de stad Heidelberg de steenoppervlakken veredelen met de hoogwaardige coating van Nanopool. De onzichtbare multifunctionele laag tegen vuilhechting en verweringsresten is ontworpen om natuurlijke vervuiling op de oppervlakken grotendeels door regen te laten wegspoelen. Dat maakt de recreatiezone aan de rivieroever nog aantrekkelijker.<\/p>\n<p>Moisture and moss cushions can form a wafer-thin biofilm on stone surfaces that permanently damages the substrate and delays the drying of the stones. The professional NP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> coating is designed to counteract this and thus enhances material protection and comfort in equal measure. The treated surface is altered neither visually nor to the touch.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>High Quality: Natural Stone Remains Breathable<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In contrast to many common, conventional stone impregnations, the NP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> coating gives natural stone its new, repellent properties without sealing it airtight: the layer is so ultra-thin that it wraps around the individual grains and therefore does not close pores and joints.<\/p>\n<p>Hierdoor droogt de steen snel en onbelemmerd wanneer er vocht vanaf de onderzijde binnendringt. V.: in samenwerking met Dr. Tombers &amp; Partner \u2013 Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Bauschadensforschung, Materialpr\u00fcfung und Umweltanalytik mbH werd voor het Nanopool-product het waterdampdiffusieweerstandsgetal \u00b5 bepaald. De resultaten toonden aan dat de waterdampdoorlatendheid van het behandelde zandsteenmonster ondanks de hoge beschermende werking van de multiperformancelaag overeenkomt met die van een onbehandelde steen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Protection Against Driving Rain and Freeze-Thaw<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vooral natuursteen kan in de loop der tijd ernstig worden beschadigd door verwering. Onder meer leidt capillaire werking bij slagregen tot vochtindringing in de steen, wat niet alleen schimmel- en algengroei veroorzaakt, maar bij vorst-dooiwisselingen ook geleidelijk het openbarsten van de ondergrond in gang zet.<\/p>\n<p>De NP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> protective coating is designed to counteract this: it can considerably reduce the penetration of moisture into the stone and thus a key cause of changes to the material \u2013 depending on the substrate, application and conditions of use.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Het Institut f\u00fcr Steinkonservierung e.V. stelde onder meer vast:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tests on different stone samples show that the water-repellent effect of NP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Stone Protect is long-lasting in the tested samples, while at the same time the drying of the stone is not impaired when moisture enters from the rear side.<\/li>\n<li>On a sample exposed outdoors for several years, no changes to the stone surface have been observed so far. Untreated stone samples and those treated with conventional hydrophobing agents partly show microbial growth, whereas the samples treated with the (NP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>) spray do not.<\/li>\n<li>The freeze-thaw cycle test and the freeze-de-icing-salt cycle test demonstrated that the NP<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> product remains effective even after 100 test cycles.<\/li>\n<li>De hechting van mos en de
